Mum sees wrinkles, I see Joy
For so long I put off digitising photographs because I’m no technical expert, but I sorted a system that worked for me and accepted that it might not be a perfect job but imperfect was better than nothing done at all.
There’s nothing like appreciating nature to soothe a weariness of soul.
Getting to a small, manageable and orderly collection of photographs was, for me, liberating and it motivated me to work carefully through this next stage.
How many times have you tried to find a particular photo but, after hunting everywhere it still eludes you?
Once I addressed overwhelm (here), the biggest hurdle in sorting the stash of old photographs was just getting started. My aim was to quickly reject as many unnecessary photographs as possible and get to a much smaller pile of keepers. Here’s my system:
